Nordkapp is the (more or less) northernmost point in mainland Europe and is situated in the northern extreme of Norway. Surprisingly - wrong! Cliffs of North Cape are located at 71°10′21″N 25°47′04″E making it the most northerly point reachable by car, however the true most northerly point of Europe is nearby Knivskjelodden peninsula. It reaches 1.5 km further north than Nordkapp, at 71°11′08°N 25.71°E.

So, I took a map and Knivskjelodden seemed to be the real northernmost point (71° 11′ 08″ NB). Knivskjelodden can, unlike the North Cape, not be reached by car (nor by bike).
